You deserve to know what therapy costs before you reach out. Here's everything in one place: session fees, how insurance works with my practice, and your payment options. I offer online therapy for adults in New York, Connecticut, and Florida.
Session Fees
Free 15-minute consultation: $0. A short call to see whether we're a good fit, with no obligation.
50-minute session: $205. Individual therapy, including EMDR.
90-minute EMDR intensive: $250. A longer session for deeper processing and faster progress.
All sessions are held online through secure telehealth, so you can meet from home, your office, or wherever you feel most at ease.
Do You Take Insurance?
In network with a limited number of plans. Ask during your free consultation whether your plan is one of them.
Out-of-network for other plans. Many PPO plans reimburse part of the cost of out-of-network therapy, and Thrizer makes using those benefits simple.
No surprise bills. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate of your costs before we begin.
Using Out-of-Network Benefits with Thrizer
Instead of paying the full fee and waiting weeks to be reimbursed, Thrizer lets you pay only your estimated share at the time of each session. Thrizer submits the claims to your insurance company for you.

Payment Options
HSA and FSA cards accepted. Therapy is a qualified medical expense, so you can pay with pre-tax dollars from your health savings or flexible spending account.
Good Faith Estimate. As required by the federal No Surprises Act, you will receive a written estimate of your expected costs before we begin. Learn about your right to a Good Faith Estimate.
Fees FAQs
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The 15-minute consultation is free and comes with no obligation. It's a chance to ask questions and see whether working together feels right.
Is EMDR priced differently?
No. A standard 50-minute EMDR session is $205, the same as any 50-minute session. The 90-minute EMDR intensive is $250.
How do I know if my insurance will reimburse me?
Run the free Thrizer eligibility check, or call your insurance company and ask about out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. We can go over your results during your consultation.
What is your cancellation policy?
I hold your appointment time exclusively for you, so I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions canceled with less notice, and missed appointments, are charged the full session fee. Genuine emergencies are always handled with understanding. Missed-session fees can't be submitted to insurance or included on superbills.
